female:pressure FACTS 2017 - 2019
This is the ongoing festival facts collection for the years 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Please be VERY ACCURATE when you count. Please submit separate data for each year (2017, 2018 or 2019). Please only include festival counts of FINAL line-ups! Often line-ups change last minute. So to be safe, it's better to count shortly AFTER a festival took place.

Performing acts on festivals are counted PER SLOT. E.g. if several artists play back-to-back and they are all female, it counts as one female act. Or if you encounter an a/v act with one female musician and a male visual artist, it counts as one mixed act. If one act performs several times and thus has several slots, this act needs to be counted multiple times according to the number of slots.

Please only submit numbers for PERFORMING artist (audio and visual artists). We decided NOT to include discourse nor exhibition programs in our numbers!

Please do not forget to insert a DEEP LINK as your counting source. A link to the general festival page is not enough!

If you have questions about how to fill out the form, please contact facts@femalepressure.net.
