Emergency Care awards
- Advanced Resuscitation Techniques and First Aid (ARTFA) - Blended delivery - eLearning with 8.5 hrs face to face. Min 15 yrs.
- Resuscitation (Resus) - Blended delivery - eLearning with 1.5 hrs face to face Min 12 yrs.
Powercraft awards:
- Inflatable Rescue Boat Crew (IRBC) - Blended delivery - eLearning with min 3 days face to face. Min 15 yrs and must hold BM.
- Silver Medallion Inflatable Rescue Boat Driver (SMIRBD) Blended delivery - eLearning with min 5 days face to face. Min 17 yrs and must hold IRBC & Marine Licence
- Side-by-side Vehicle operator (SSV) - 4 hours face to face. Min 18 yrs, and must hold Driver's Licence
Other Patrolling awards:
- Silver Medallion Patrol Captain (SMPC) - for all PCs, VPCs and Beach Leaders. 2 days face to face. Age 18 yrs minimum, current BM plus one other patrolling award AND 2 years patrolling experience - mentored
- Radio Operator Certificate (ROC) - 3 hrs face to face. Min 13 yrs Required to patrol if you do not hold a Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate
Becoming a Trainer awards:
- Training Officer Certificate (TOC) - prerequisite to becoming a Trainer. Blended delivery - eLearning with 2 days face to face and further assessment at Club. Min 17 yrs. Delivered through LSV by SLSQ.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment - undertaken at a TAFE. Required for delivery of accredited Health units
