There are other optional data points you can provide confidentially, if you'd like to contribute to the overall information of the group about BMI, waist to hip ratio, % body fat, etc. To see links to those graphs, see the section titled "Inspiration from our Maintainers" in the Big Page of Links:
Once you've kept off 30 or more pounds for at least a year you can also join the National Weight Control Registry - they collect statistics on successful maintainers, analyze the data, and publish scientific articles so we can learn about how to be successful.

(optional, confidential) Many of our maintainers use a Moving Average or Weighted Moving Average to see past normal fluctuations and identify trends in their weight. Or they use strategies like weighing less frequently. It is interesting to see which tools people use.
