Let's see if we can beat the stats by keeping each other focused and engaged...

Fill in the form below if you'd like to participate.

If you make a mistake or want to revise your information you can just come back and re enter your data any time. We'll periodically go through and delete older duplicate entries.

In order to keep the list current, we will email you once a year and ask you to confirm that you're still maintaining. To stay on the list, just stay active at Spark People, watch your fitness, and re-enter your data when you receive the message. :-)

Here is our Maintenance Hall of Fame:

There are other optional data points you can provide confidentially, if you'd like to contribute to the overall information of the group about BMI, waist to hip ratio, % body fat, etc. To see links to those graphs, see the section titled "Inspiration from our Maintainers" in the Big Page of Links:

Once you've kept off 30 or more pounds for at least a year you can also join the National Weight Control Registry - they collect statistics on successful maintainers, analyze the data, and publish scientific articles so we can learn about how to be successful.
See their site for more information: http://www.nwcr.ws

(optional, confidential) Many of our maintainers use a Moving Average or Weighted Moving Average to see past normal fluctuations and identify trends in their weight. Or they use strategies like weighing less frequently. It is interesting to see which tools people use. For more information on these tools, visit the section titled "How should I TRACK my weight?" here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AkUBsUACT7rZ5GsdF7jT9YcD1Xa80VFGiJ5JeUkur8A/pub#h.y4q2w7q5byl7
