Wayne County Public Transit - Employer Survey
Wayne County and Community Action Wayne/Medina (CAWM) are exploring a partnership with the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) to enhance Wayne County’s public transportation options. Options being considered include improving existing transportation programs and adding new services to address unmet needs, using both conventional bus routes that serve predetermined stops on a fixed schedule, and innovative door-to-door services to provide cost-effective connections in Wayne County, and between Wayne and surrounding counties. Services would be operated by a mix of public, for-profit, and not-for-profit providers.

**The purpose of this survey is to determine whether Wayne County employers would benefit from transit services; and also to gauge interest from local employers.**

PLEASE NOTE: The COVID-19 pandemic has changed everyday life for a number of people, including members of at-risk groups and individuals with underlying medical conditions. Safety is a top priority and measures have been in place by Wooster transit providers according to guidelines.
Wayne County officials have explored expanding existing public transit services with local organizations prior to state stay-at-home orders. Please approach this survey knowing that the COVID-19 emergency will be at a different stage in 2021, when the service would begin.
