COUNSELLOR PROGRAM for ages 12-17from 8:15AM-12:15PM & final performance on AUG 09 at 6:30PM3 positions available BY APPLICATION ONLY. The role of counsellor is a volunteer position and Community Service hours are available for this week. There is no application fee nor registration fee required to be a Counselor for Block 1. There is a $25 discount on tuition also available for those who will be doing the Block 2 afternoon program.
Counsellors will work with our younger artists in Block 1 during the morning program (ages 7-11 from 8:30am-12:00pm)Participants are not required, but are STRONGLY encouraged to also register for Block 2 afternoon program (ages 12-17 from 1:00-4:30PM)
COUNSELLORS will be team leaders, in charge of attendance and overseeing the safe pick-up/drop-off of their group members. Counsellors may be asked to lead group activities, games, warm-ups, and oversee the individual/small group work of actors when not working with directors. Counsellors may be tasked with directing or facilitating rehearsal elements. For the performance, counsellors will serve as technical assistance (lights, sets, props, backstage, stage management, etc.), or production assistants (house management, parent coordination, etc.). Counsellors will receive frequent feedback and a review about their performance.
