Art was something that has been created by the people, for the people. However, many stories have been buried or ignored due to discrimination towards the artist’s gender, race, social class, upbringing, etc. We believe in honoring and shedding light to what society and historians ignored for centuries: the silent acts of resistance and attempts artists made to be seen and heard.
