We are excited to announce the 6th annual STAY Summer Institute (SSI). This year's event will be held July 6-9 at the Appalachian South Folklife Center in Pipestem, WV. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a weekend full of youth leadership development, celebration, and collective learning and growth.

Registration will close on Friday, June 29 2017, with a maximum of 60 attendees. Please take a few moments to fill out the questions below with as much detail as possible to help us give you the best SSI experience.

The STAY Summer Institute (SSI) is STAY's largest gathering and is open to 14-30 year old's from Central Appalachia (includes eastern Kentucky, eastern Tennessee, West Virginia, southwest Virginia, and western North Carolina.).

STAY is also committed to creating inclusive and safe spaces for all participants with various experiences within Central Appalachia. Any personal identification information that we are asking (but may not be requiring) is to allow us to make sure we are honoring STAY's commitment to represent and create space for all young Appalachians from the region, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, abilities, or background.
