CAN 2017: Supporting Effective Partnerships

The University of Exeter is proud to be working with Jisc to host the 5th annual Change Agents’ Network Conference on 20 & 21 April 2017. One of the most exciting aspects of CAN2017 will be showcasing practice from universities and colleges across the UK on how they are working in partnership with students. We are looking for staff and students to share specific examples of how they are working in partnership, how students are working as change agents or as co-researchers to improve their educational experience.

We particularly welcome contributions that feature the innovative use of technology and support one of the 6 conference themes outlined below:

1. Developing digital capability of staff and students

2. Employability and graduate attributes

3. Students as Researchers

4. Curriculum co-design

5. Impact of student partnerships

6. International perspectives and practice

If you would like to propose a session for the conference please complete this Google form by midnight on Friday 10 February. You can access further information about the call from the conference website ( We will confirm which proposals have been accepted by Wednesday 22 February. Priority will be given to contributions which are student-led or collaboratively delivered by staff and students. You will also need to register to attend the event in order to contribute to the conference.
