What is Camp EarthPact? Camp EarthPact is an African-centered youth summer camp that was first piloted in the summer of 2022.  It focuses on environmental stewardship targeting campers ages 5-18. The goal of Camp EarthPact is to build a pipeline for a future generation of climate-conscious Black land-stewards while building knowledge and skills around climate justice, sustainable land use, and sovereign community. By design, Camp EarthPact integrates ancestral wisdom, history, and core classroom subjects (math, science, literacy and culture) into the real-world context.

Mission: EarthPact camps help youth examine the effects of people on the earth and how the earth supports our health. Through one of 3 lenses: Farm, Forestry, and/or Sustainability, Earthpact camps aim to help campers gain an embodied learning experience of how to have a more positive impact on the earth so that future generations can thrive. All EarthPact camps have 3 primary ingredients: Fun, Hands-on Technical Skill Building, and Conscious Conceptual Training.

This year has left many families in uncertain circumstances and unforeseen financial strains. As a sponsor, you will directly contribute to offsetting the cost of attendance, before care, and/or after care for a family that may not be able to attend otherwise. There is no amount too small to make a difference!

$5 covers 1 session of before or after care for 1 camper
$25 covers 1 week of before or after care for a week for 1 camper
$50 covers before AND after care for a week for 1 camper
$100 matches half of the cost of attendance for 1 camper
$200 covers 1 camper for the entire week
