Are you interested in talking to our Kentucky legislators in Frankfort on February 13th, 2025?
KASL is looking for current school librarians, retired school librarians, and school library supporters to help us visit ALL of our Representatives and Senators to spread the word about the good things that we do.
We know that school libraries have a positive influence on teaching and learning and our decision-makers need to know, too!
Our goal will be to have teams that include school, academic, and public libraries visit legislators on our advocacy day. There will be an opportunity to strategize the night before during a workshop at KDLA. We will provide all the materials that you we need and what you need to bring is YOURSELF!
If you are unable to travel, but still want to participate in our day of advocacy, we will also need school library supporters to send emails on this day.
No matter whether you'll be with us in person or in spirit, please let us know if you'd like to be part of our team!
