Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Scholarship for Environmental Stewardship
The mission of the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum is to create responsible caretakers of our environment. Through quality educational programs for the public that focus on the unique ecology of the Hudson Valley, the Museum promotes knowledge and appreciation of our natural world and the dynamic role of human interaction in its well-being.
Eligibility Requirements for Scholarship Candidates
To be considered for the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A graduating senior from Cornwall Central High School
• Accepted at a two-year or four-year college or university
• Demonstrated interest in caring for the environment and a commitment to environmental pursuits
• Children and other relatives of HHNM Board of Trustee and HHNM staff members are NOT eligible

Application Instructions
TO APPLY:

1. Complete this application.

2. Submit two letters of recommendation. One letter may be from a teacher and the other must be from a non-family adult who is aware of your work and/or interest in the environment. Current members of the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Board of Trustees and Professional Staff are not eligible to provide letters of recommendation. The letters must emailed to acrawford@hhnm.org or mailed to HHNM, PO Box 451, Cornwall, NY 12518 (postmarked no later than May 6, 2019.)
