Training for seed collections managers of Community Seed Banks (CSB) in Europe

This survey is conducted as part of the Community Seed Banks Academy project in collaboration with the European Coordination Let's Liberate Diversity (EC-LLD). You are invited to participate in a survey on training needs of persons that are Managing seed collections (for example seed archives, seed libraries, maisons de semences, case delle sementi, farmers seed networks) in European Community Seed Banks (CSB).
The purpose of the CSB Academy is to support specific trainings for CSB initiatives and to connect people engaged in CSBs.
Who we are: Community Seed Banks Academy
Behind the CSB-Academy project stands a group of farmers networks and seed savers associations. The CSB-Academy project aims at strengthening CSBs in Europe in order to overcome multiple social, technical and policy barriers that they face. This shall be achieved by supporting needs-based training programs developed in a broad participatory process and a platform to network and exchange to Community Seed Banks in Europe and beyond. The European Coordination Let's Liberate Diversity! (EC-LLD) is an international non-profit organisation, with the mission to coordinate and share actions, knowledge, and experiences of its members to encourage, develop and promote the dynamic management of biodiversity on-farm and in gardens. We share the same concern that our food systems are too uniform, and that conventional agriculture has been the only model supported until now by European policies, with the aim of modernizing all agricultural systems.
