Volunteer Code of Conduct
To ensure that both attendees and volunteers have the best experience possible, we have adopted a Volunteer Code of Conduct for all public events.
Please check ALL boxes to be in compliance with our Volunteer Code of Conduct.
I am aware that Palmer Home is a Christian organization and I will uphold and reflect the principles and values embodied in their mission.
I will accept the responsibilities of my mutually-agreed upon volunteer assignment and carry them out fully.
I accept that successful events are dependent on a spirit of cooperation, patience and respect and I agree to collaborate with each member of the Palmer Home staff, contractors and fellow volunteers to ensure the best outcome for event attendees.
I will be vigilant to provide for the safety and security of all event attendees. If I see a potential threat of danger, I will report it immediately to the appropriate authorities either with Palmer Home or security.
I will report to Palmer Home volunteer registration upon arrival and before departure. During the event, I will be clearly identified by wearing a STAFF t-shirt so I may be visible and better able assist our attendees. Volunteers may keep the t-shirts as a token of Palmer Home’s appreciation.
I am at least 21 years of age.
I understand that the purpose of events is to generate awareness and revenue to benefit Palmer Home for Children. To that end, I agree to pay a volunteer-rate entry of $35 to support the fundraising goal.
I understand that anyone not upholding the Code of Conduct may be relieved of their duties and/or asked to leave the event.
