Designing Careers @ Open Design Cape Town Festival 2017
ABOUT OPEN DESIGN CAPE TOWN FESTIVAL - Driving the "Afrikan Design innovation" Agenda
Open Design is an interactive platform that attracts participants from diverse demographics and communities who believe in the power of creativity and innovation to bring about change and transformation in the way we educate, do business, communicate, socialize, connect and build communities and cities. It's an annual celebration of great design, innovation and social entrepreneurship that drives the Afrikan Design Innovation Agenda.

Innovation, education and community are the building blocks of a sustainable, inclusive, prosperous society. Design and innovation are the unifying threads that link the building blocks and solutions to develop a better future world. One of Cape Town’s most dynamic design and innovation events, the Open Design Cape Town Festival, brings these concepts together

The 12-day programme takes place from 14 - 25 August 2017:
14 - 20 August at the festival hub, Cape Town City Hall
21 - 25 August: City Activation at various venues across the city and in other communities.
