Thank you for your interest in joining the South Asia Young Women in Water (SAYWiW) family. The reason we call us a family and not a community is because our ultimate motive is to look out for each other! We are looking for like minded, passionate and committed individuals who can exhibit qualities required for inter-regional collaboration, are proactive in taking on responsibilities and can demonstrate a high level of commitment to SAYWiW's goals and objectives. It is expected that the active participants demonstrate a remarkable degree of reliability in fulfilling their duties and obligations.
Kindly note that successful submission of this form does not automatically grant a membership to the network. Following the submission, we will assess the activities suitable for your potential contribution. Subsequent steps may or may not include an in-person online meeting. Upon successful onboarding, the responsibility shall rest with you to actively engage with our projects. If you prove to be a valuable member, we would gladly include you in our social media networks, email groups, and designate you as part of our esteemed core member list.
To become an official member, you need to:
1. Be under 35 years old.
2. Have a higher education degree. If not, you can still apply and explain in the motivation letter why you should be considered.
3. Ensure you complete the entire form, including submitting a short motivation letter (limited to 1000 characters).
4. Upon selection, active involvement in at least one project is mandatory.
5. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic about connecting young women from South Asia on water-related issues and helping to make the voices of youth heard.
