Policy for use of Facilities
The following rules and regulations for the use of the EUMC facilities have been approved by the church council on August 3, 2014. All persons using the Church must agree to abide by these policies as described and agree to conduct themselves and other attendees in such a manner that will not discredit the church or its members. All use must be consistent with Christian Ministry of the EUMC.
Anyone wishing to use the EUMC facilities shall contact the church office by phone, Email or in person at least Thirty days prior to the event in order to schedule and be granted approval by the church council. The person in charge of requesting the Facility will be responsible to see that the following guidelines are followed.

General Guidelines:
1. The cost will be $100 for the Family life center with an additional charge of $50 if the kitchen will be used, such as the oven, dish washer etc. No charge for the use of refrigerator.
The cost to current members of the Emlenton Methodist Ministries will be a reasonable donation. There will be a $50 deposit required to hold the date and will be returned once the building is considered in clean order.
2. There shall be no smoking or use of tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs or file language in the church building.
3. All furniture must be replaced as found when leaving, and floors must be swept after event.
4. All food from the refrigerator and tables must be removed after event.
5. Kitchen equipment must be cleaned and returned to its proper place.
6. All garbage must be removed/taken with you. Emlenton UMC does not have garbage service. 
7. All functions must be over by or before 11:00 PM
8. Nothing is to be tacked, taped or mounted to the walls and woodwork that will cause damage or mark the property
9. No food or drink is permitted outside of the Family Life center
10. There cannot be any social meetings or activities in the family life center during any worship services
11. All children (under 18) should have proper adult supervision during all events
12. No equipment is to be moved out of its current location without prior written permission
13. All organizations or groups must clear the requested date with the Pastor
14. The deposit will be returned within ten days after the event when it is satisfied that the building was well cared for.

I, the undersigned, agree that the United Methodist Ministry is not liable to any use, organization and/or guest for any accident or injury, including death, that may take place while on church property or while using any church facility. By signing this Facility Request Form, I acknowledge that I am releasing the United Methodist Ministry from any liability. Furthermore, I and my guests agree to indemnify the United Methodist Ministry for any and all loss from any legal action taken against the United Methodist Ministry as a result of our use of church facilities or property.  I acknowledge my responsibility for any and all damage to any of the facilities, grounds, equipment or to the property of the United Methodist Ministry during the hours I have reserved this facility.  Any and all actual costs of repair or replacement will be my responsibility. I understand that it is my responsibility to report any damaged or broken items to the United Methodist Ministry office.  I and my guests  release and forever discharge the United Methodist Ministry from any and all claims, demands and causes of action whatsoever that may arise or may hereafter arise on account of any first aid or other medical treatment rendered on the premises of the United Methodist Ministry.
