The CMTO is inviting volunteers and workers at community radio and television stations to undertake a 3-month online training and mentoring program in community media income generation.

The program supports business planning for your community radio or television station. Focusing on audience support through membership, subscriptions and sponsorship, participants will reflect on their station's core values and purpose to consolidate and develop their station income generation plan.
This will lead into a second course focusing on fundraising campaigns and project development.

Small groups of up to 3 people from each station are encouraged to complete the course together so that the learnings can be actioned at an organisational level.

Each person is required to complete an individual application form and specify who (if any) is planning to complete the program with them.

The successful stations will be selected on the basis of:

Do you have existing enterprise ideas and plans that you would like to explore for your station?

Can you commit to the specified contact hours - online and/or face to face?

Do you have the support of the board and access to relevant information for business planning?

Together with the above criteria, the mix of successful stations will represent diversity in size, experience, and geographic locations. The CMTO is especially interested in applications from stations in rural, regional and remote locations and stations that have an annual income of less than $100,000.

Applications close Monday 2nd December, 2019, 5pm AEDT.
