GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING THIS FORM

In the case of non-English language titles, if you desire that a translation be included, please enter the full title you would like to see printed. Sequencing (original language/English of vice versa) is 100% up to the submitting party. Please do not use "ALL CAPS" (or all lowercase or whatever) in your title unless this is how you would prefer it be printed.

Long Film Synopsis (no character limit)
This is optional but is intended to be a place where a Program Note/Artist Statement longer than 250 words can be provided. Please note that we will be limited to how much text we will be able to place online or in print and will likely edit long texts. Please don't go crazy on this.

In the case of works of performance or "expanded cinema" which might require longer descriptions, diagrams, links to online resources, multiple preview links, etc, it would be best for these to be sent via email to festival@sfcinematheque.org (you can also drop links to this stuff in this space as well).

Please do not use this space to share long production notes, credits lists, budgets, press kits, etc.
Premiere Status
Note that a works premiere status or exhibition history shall have no bearing on the selection process. We're also aware that the premiere status of the work may change subsequent to submission (i.e. it may screen elsewhere before CROSSROADS 2026). We'll double check this with makers before we go live with anything. Don't worry.
