A Sip of Paradise Garden is a community-driven garden designed for members of the bartender and hospitality industry in Atlanta, GA. Our mission is to cultivate a happier, healthier bartender community by providing therapeutic gardening activities, professional networking, and social enrichment in a shared, sustainable space.
Members are empowered to take an active role in the cultivation, harvesting, and maintenance of the garden, fostering a space that nurtures both the land and the people within it.
As part of their membership, all members must contribute at least 4 volunteer hours per season to the garden. This can be completed in the form of:
✅ Harvesting & Distribution: Supporting garden harvest days and ensuring fair access for all members.
✅ Grounds & Plant Care: Watering, weeding, and maintaining garden beds to keep the space thriving.
✅ Composting & Sustainability: Managing and educating others on composting to enhance soil health.
✅ Event & Workshop Support & Attendance: Assisting in event setup, breakdown, and hospitality at community gatherings.
✅ Education & Mentorship: Helping new members integrate into the garden by sharing knowledge and guidance.
