A Sip of Paradise Garden Membership Application 2025

A Sip of Paradise Garden is a community-driven garden designed for members of the bartender and hospitality industry in Atlanta, GA. Our mission is to cultivate a happier, healthier bartender community by providing therapeutic gardening activities, professional networking, and social enrichment in a shared, sustainable space.

Members are empowered to take an active role in the cultivation, harvesting, and maintenance of the garden, fostering a space that nurtures both the land and the people within it.

Membership Dues / Event & Workshop Donations
  • Individual membership: $75 per growing season (April to December).
  • Participation in wellness classes, social events, and workshops:
    • Members: $5 donation or a plant contribution
    • Non-members: $10 donation or a plant contribution
Membership Eligibility Requirements
  • Bartender/service industry/hospitality professionals, past or present
    • Includes but is not limited to: bartenders, brand ambassadors, servers, BOH staff, restaurant managers, and other hospitality workers.
Membership Benefits & Participation Requirements Garden Participation Commitment

As part of their membership, all members must contribute at least 4 volunteer hours per season to the garden. This can be completed in the form of:

Harvesting & Distribution: Supporting garden harvest days and ensuring fair access for all members.

Grounds & Plant Care: Watering, weeding, and maintaining garden beds to keep the space thriving.

Composting & Sustainability: Managing and educating others on composting to enhance soil health.

Event & Workshop Support & Attendance: Assisting in event setup, breakdown, and hospitality at community gatherings.

Education & Mentorship: Helping new members integrate into the garden by sharing knowledge and guidance.

Free Harvesting Privileges – Members may harvest herbs, vegetables, fruit, and flowers (within sustainable limits).

Access to All Events & Classes at Discounted Rates – 50% off all non-brand-sponsored workshops and wellness classes.

Discounted Event Space Rentals – Special rates for hosting private or professional events at the garden.

Membership Drive / Referral Program

Help grow our community! Members who refer 3 new members will receive a free plant of their choice or one free workshop pass.
