ABOUT THE YOUNG MEN CONFERENCE
Being a young man in Africa today comes with huge expectations — in life, career, and business. Many of these pressures are not his fault, yet he is often left to figure things out alone, with little preparation and almost no choice.
That’s why the Young Men Conference exists.
This annual gathering is dedicated to empowering, equipping, and connecting young men across Africa. It is organized by the Double Edged Impact Network (DEIN) — a community of impact-driven professionals committed to advancing humanity. Through this conference, we provide a safe and inspiring space where young men can have real conversations, access practical knowledge, and build relationships that will help them thrive in life, career, and society.
Every November, as part of the global commemoration of International Men’s Day (November 19), we come together not just to talk about challenges, but to find solutions, grow stronger, and celebrate the power of positive masculinity.
Our Objectives
At the Young Men Conference, we are committed to:
- Promoting Positive Masculinity – redefining manhood in healthy, empowering ways.
- Holistic Personal Growth – helping young men develop in character, skills, and vision.
- Building a Supportive Community – where brotherhood and collaboration flourish.
- Celebrating and Inspiring Positive Impact – showcasing role models and success stories.
- Fostering Lifelong Learning – equipping young men with tools that last beyond the conference.

Why “The Man Who Builds”?
In today’s world, it’s easy to drift, complain, or tear others down. But what our world truly needs are men who build. That is, men who create, strengthen, and leave a lasting legacy.
The 2025 edition of the Young Men Conference builds on our past themes:- The Complete Man (holistic development),
- Positive Masculinity (redefining manhood), and
- Men Dey! (resilience and presence).
This year, “The Man Who Builds” challenges us to go a step further; to move from merely showing up to actually building up.A man who builds does not wait for perfect conditions. He rolls up his sleeves and takes responsibility for his life, his values, his energy, his finances, his work, and his relationships. He knows that greatness is never an accident; it is the result of deliberate choices, discipline, and vision.
This conference will:
- Inspire you as a young man to take ownership of their lives.
- Challenge you to shift your focus from short-term gains to lasting impact.
- Provide you with necessary tools for self-mastery, discipline, and value-driven living.
- Address the real issues young men like you face (work, money, relationships, purpose, and integrity) with practical, action-driven solutions.
The Man Who Builds doesn’t just dream of tomorrow — he starts laying bricks today. Are you the MAN who Builds?
If you are, we invite you to be part of this transformative experience.
Kind Regards,
Victor Ifegwu-Mbonu (The Torch Bearer)
