Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals is the region's largest non-profit organization advocating for and enriching the lives of young professionals and their families.

We currently have 7 board positions open.

Vice President
Serves three years: 1 year as Vice President, 1 year as President, and 1 year as immediate Past President.

Treasurer
Serves two years: Oversees finances of the organization by developing an annual budget, tracking expenses, and completing and explaining financial statements.

Special Event Chair
Serves two years: Oversees our Special Events Committee and coordinates the logistics, volunteers, members' interest, and committees for events.

Social Chair
Serves two years: Oversees our Social Committee and coordinate monthly activities that allow young professionals to meet fellow YPs in a unique and casual setting.

Professional Development Chair
This will be a one year term to fulfill a vacancy. Professional Development chair oversees our PD events, including monthly Lunch & Learns, Leadership Conferences, mentorship programs, and more.

Member at Large- Two Years
Member at Large- One Year (To fulfill a two year term)
Voting members who represent the membership as a whole. Send welcome emails to new members and assist with programming. Voted on by our general membership.


Any young professional is eligible to apply for a position. If you are not a current member of GGFYP, you will need to join in order to be eligible to be selected.

Eligibility requirements:
-Current (or will be a current) member of GGFYP;
-Able to attend GGFYP's monthly board meetings (currently scheduled 2nd Wednesday of each month at 5:30pm)
-Able to host monthly committee meetings.
