2023 20th Annual Music Bowl!

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, Downers Grove South High School will host their annual all-day Marching Mustang Music Bowl, a marching band competition featuring high school bands from surrounding areas. The event regularly attracts over 4,000 friends, families, and residents who come from all over Illinois and Indiana to witness the dedicated marching band members. This year, we welcome Downers Grove North in their first ever Music Bowl appearance, and as host, our own Downers Grove South Marching Mustangs will perform in exhibition. 

Music Bowl is the Downers Grove South Marching Mustangs' largest fundraiser each year, and has an operating budget of over $20,000. This expense covers judges, our announcer, hospitality, concessions, awards, parking, facilities, and everything else that has made Music Bowl a competition that bands come back to year after year with glowing reviews.

YOUR SUPPORT allows us to continue the level of excellence our students and attending bands have come to expect and supports the Marching Mustangs in their 2023 competition season. This year, the Marching Mustangs will compete at several local competitions as well as the Bands of America Super Regional competition in St. Louis.

EVERY Music Bowl attendee will have access to the Program Book, available on the Music Bowl website for anyone to download for ONE YEAR!

  *  1/2 Page Ad: $150   (Horizontal: 7.5"W x 4.875"H, Vertical: 3.75"W x 10"H)
