Placement Evaluations for Summer 2024
This is for Crawfish Aquatics swim team on Bluebonnet, in Baton Rouge.

PLEASE SUBMIT A FORM FOR EACH SWIMMER.

*We will begin scheduling Summer evaluations in late April*

Children under age 5 or all ages without formal stroke instruction, please visit the Crawfish Swim School on Siegen or Prairieville at www.crawfishswimschool.com for class information.  They offer year round swim classes for all ages.   Crawfish Aquatics on Bluebonnet also offers Summer swim lessons from May through July (info/registration here).

Swim Team programs at Crawfish Aquatics, Bluebonnet start at age 5 and require:
    • Ages 5-8:  25yds of freestyle swim & backstroke kick (beginning the Novice group)
    • Ages 5-9: 25 yards freestyle + side breath & backstroke swim (8 & Under or 9-10yr Novice group)
    • Ages 10-14yrs: 25 yards freestyle + side breath, 25 yards backstroke swim, 50 yards back kick (10-14yr Novice)
    • Ages 9-14yrs: 50-75 yards of freestyle, backstroke + additional swim team skills (Age Group division)
    • Ages 15 & o:  swimmers meeting the Age Group division  entry skills listed above will be placed in Summer Age Group or High School group, age and level dependent.
