Eurisy Survey on Cities using satellite services
Satellites offer data and signals that can be used to improve the life of those who live in urban areas. As an example, satellite imagery can be used to monitor green areas; satellite navigation to optimise public transport; satellite communication to connect rescue teams when other connections are down.
Are you a local/regional administration, a private company or an NGO operating in cities? Do you use satellite applications to provide better services?
We want to know how satellite applications are used in cities to support current and potential users to make the most of these technologies. We will invite you to share your experience with potential partners, make you aware of support and funding opportunities, and will bring your feedback to decision-makers.
This questionnaire will be used by Eurisy to analyse the use of satellite-based applications in cities and identify and characterise challenges and conditions to maximise the positive impacts of such new technologies.
We are not looking for technical details, but for information on your work, needs and experience with satellite-based services.
The results of the analysis will be shared with the responding organisations and made public in an aggregated way. Individual replies will not be made public.
Please reply to these questions to the best of your knowledge and leave a blank space when you are not able to answer.
If you wish to raise awareness on your experience in particular, please indicate your intention by ticking the appropriate box on the last page of this questionnaire. The Eurisy Secretariat will contact you shortly to arrange an interview with you.
