This award recognized individual achievements in peacemaking, leadership, community service and activism. To be eligible, the applicant must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at ETSU and must have a record of participation in peacemaking activities in the community. Examples include activities in the areas of civil rights, cross-cultural understanding, economic and social justice, environmental protection as well as activities that help advance peace and human dignity. Strong applicants will have a record of peaceful conflict resolution (in any area, include thing workplace, family life, or volunteer work), leadership, integrity and compassion, and demonstrate respect for all individuals.
This application must be submitted by Friday, March 06, 2020 in order to be considered for this award. Award recipients will be acknowledged at the annual Summit Awards Reception on Thursday, April 16th, 2020.
