2020 Invitational Summer Institute Staff Application

Oklahoma Writing Project is accepting applications for 2020 Summer Institute Coaching Staff.

This position will involve promoting OKWP SI all school year and mentoring/coaching fellows during SI.


OKWP SI 2020 will be held at the Moore Norman Technology Center -Norman Campus during the month of June 2020--June 8-11, June 15-18, June 22-25; 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Symposium June 26 8:00-11:30.

There will also be required SI Coach training and two pre-institute dates in the Spring. (These dates will be finalized once Co-Directors are chosen.)

2020 Staff will be notified by November 14, 2019.

Oklahoma Writing Project Summer Institute
Dates: JJune 8-11, June 15-18, June 22-25;
June 26, 8:00 a.m.-1130 a.m. followed by celebratory lunch.
Location: Moore Norman Technology Center, 4701 12th Avenue NW Norman, OK 73069
*During the institute, Norman campus staff should plan on arriving around 8:30 am and leaving around 4:30 pm.

With National Writing Project's funding no longer funding summer institutes, our project is faced with generating funds to support our SI.
