Serving as a Subject Matter Expert or Mentor:
Every Coro program includes Leadership Development Workshops, facilitated by Coro staff, and civic strategy sessions and skill-based workshops, delivered by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). In these sessions, participants use group process tools to understand and help to solve public problems and acquire technical skills such as grant-writing and personal branding. Participants learn through interviews, focus weeks, leadership breakfasts, panel discussions, group dialogues, workshops, and lectures. By participating as a SME, you will share your knowledge and skills with a group of emerging leaders who are working to solve public problems. You will have opportunities to build relationships with participants that can develop further after the training sessions.
Another opportunity we offer SMEs is to serve as a Mentor to participants. Our participants are diverse in demographics, professional backgrounds, and interests and often seek the mentorship of skilled professionals to help them further develop their leadership.
Please complete the form below to identify your interest in serving as a Subject Matter Expert and/or a Mentor. Someone from Coro will be in touch with you to further discuss available opportunities with Coro.
Thank you for your commitment to cultivating the next generation of leaders in Pittsburgh!
