The Youth Alliance for Intersectional Justice (YAIJ) is a Black youth-led collective of racialized and neurovaried youth, adults, and allies. We're here to amplify the voices of youth who have a variety of labels related to race, dis/ability, sexuality, gender expression, economic status, and other social labels. At the centre of our organization are racialized youth with intellectual and/or developmental disability (I/DD) labels. Youth challenge special needs labels by taking up space, teaching, and learning on their own terms, and directing their own life stories. We develop youth-centred, community-based projects and research focused on education, technology, housing, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Please fill out this form if you are interested in volunteering with YAIJ. We have a number of volunteer opportunities available and would love to work with you to play to your strengths and have you feel a part of our community. Once you fill out this form we will review it and reach out to you.
