Background:

The unfolding crisis in Lebanon and Palestine has left countless communities and businesses grappling with instability and uncertainty. Social enterprises—those working to create lasting impact across sectors like education, healthcare, agriculture, and community support—face unprecedented challenges. Many of these organizations are now stretched to their limits, striving to respond to the escalating needs of their communities while ensuring their safety and sustainability.

Social enterprises in Lebanon and Palestine serve as pillars of innovation and hope, addressing critical social issues while fostering local resilience. With the current turmoil, however, many enterprises urgently need resources to adapt, pivot, deliver essential services, and survive this troubling situation. While supporting NGOs is undoubtedly important during times of crisis, investing in social enterprises offers a pathway to rebuild and sustain efforts long after the initial relief phase. Through supporting social enterprises, we can foster resilience, empower communities, and create lasting change that endures beyond the immediate aftermath of disaster.

Bloom is launching an emergency fundraising campaign to raise funds before the end of the year to support, sustain, and empower as many of these social enterprises as possible. This initiative will rally support from diaspora communities, global allies, and mentors to equip these enterprises with the necessary tools and resources to survive and thrive.

Invitation for Ambassadors

We’re currently doing outreach for friends and allies to join us as ambassadors for this program to help us do outreach to their networks and connect with key possible supporters. We’re also interested in finding supporters interested in matching donations to further encourage people to support, offering perks/items for “auction,” connecting us with company matching donations programs, or otherwise.
