The WFS 3.0 Core Hackathon will take place the on March 6th and 7th, at the USGS facility in Ft. Collins, Colorado. It is an opportunity for developers to come together and help evolve the specification, by building or extending servers and client implementations. Though primarily an in-person event we are aiming to organize some way for interested developers to participate remotely, using the time to explore WFS and how it can work with their software. We will stream the 'kick-off' session, and set up a
gitter.im chat channel to enable communication, as well as utilize the normal github communication mechanisms for the spec. Participants will be asked to record a screencast of what they build, and the final session will also stream, sharing all the contributions.
