WHO WE ARE 

Viet Career Guide (VCG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022 by Vietnamese professionals in the U.S. Our mission is to empower students and young professionals with the guidance and support needed to transition from academia to the workforce and navigate their career journeys with confidence.

VCG CAREER CONFERENCE

Following the success of Viet Career Conference 2024 in Boston, Viet Career Guide is proud to launch the second career event series for Vietnamese students and young professionals in the U.S. — Viet Career Conference 2025. 

With the support of the Consulate General of Vietnam in San Francisco and the Office of Science and Technology in San Francisco, this year’s event will take place in Silicon Valley this August, continuing our mission to connect students, professionals, and Vietnamese businesses in the U.S., while also inspiring and equipping you with practical skills to succeed in your academic and career journey.

PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING FAIR INFORMATION

The Professional Networking Fair is a key highlight of Viet Career Conference 2025, designed to foster meaningful small-groups conversations between Vietnamese students and professionals across diverse industries.

Through a structured speed networking, professionals will engage with small groups of attendees in timed rotations, sharing insights on career paths, industry expectations, and personal experiences. This will be followed up with a final open networking that not only maximize the number of quality connections but also helps students approach the networking process with more focus and intention.

By joining this session, you'll play a crucial role in empowering the next generation of Vietnamese talent in the U.S., offering them clarity, inspiration, and direction in their early career journey.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The number of professionals selected for networking fair is limited for the best experience to the attendees. Non-selected professionals will be offered discounted price.

The Networking Fair is an individual-led activity and does not represent any company or organization. All viewpoints shared by participating professionals are personal and do not reflect the official stance of their employers.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Professionals working in the U.S. 5+ years working experience across a variety of industries who are passionate about giving back to the community.
• Recruiters and talent representatives seeking to connect with promising Vietnamese students and early-career professionals.
• Experts, managers, and leaders across a wide range of fields, including Finance, Marketing, Consulting, Data Science, Engineering, and Healthcare or any area where career guidance is needed.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

The networking session will take place from 2:00–4:00 PM on the main conference day (August 16, 2025). During this time, professionals who have signed up through this form will be seated at designated tables to connect with students and younger professionals, offering career advice and insights.

• Career Journey: Share your career journey, current role, and industry insights with small groups of students.
• Guidance & Insights: Offer practical advice, answer questions, and help demystify career paths in your field.
• Community Support: Support and inspire Vietnamese students as they explore opportunities and build their professional confidence.
