Ithaca Apple Harvest Festival 2017 Food Vendor Application
The Downtown Ithaca Alliance is pleased to announce the 2017 Apple Harvest Festival, our 35th Year! Attracting an audience of over 30,000 people, the festival will be held on September 29 (Friday, 12 - 6pm), September 30 (Saturday, 10am - 6pm), and October 1 (Sunday, 10am - 6pm)

The deadline for entries is Friday, September 1. Acceptance emails will be sent during the beginning of September. Applications received after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list in the order in which they are received.

The non-refundable application fee for the Apple Harvest Festival is $20 and the booth fee is $450 for a 10'x10' booth. In addition, there is a refundable $300 security/clean-up deposit fee that will be returned to you after the festival if your booth space is deemed acceptable by the City of Ithaca. Please write separate checks for each fee payable to the Downtown Ithaca Alliance. Booth fees will be shredded if your application is not accepted unless you send a money order (which will be mailed back). If you apply and are accepted, you have until September 15 to notify eventsdowntownithaca@gmail.com by email of your cancellation to receive a refund of your booth fee. In the event that you cancel after September 15, you will not receive a refund of your booth fee. Please contact the Downtown Ithaca Alliance office with any questions. COMPOST
Due to intake changes at Cayuga Compost, Cayuga Compost will only accept food scraps, paper napkins, and paper towels. This means that food soiled paper, as well as compostable plastics can no longer be included in the compost collection containers. Other materials - such as Birch flat-wear, compostable plastics, forks, knives, spoons, and cups - will no longer be diverted to compost bins at the Apple Harvest Festival. We request that all food vendors use recyclable materials when possible for this event.
GROUND TARPS
All vendors preparing food must put down a tarp under their entire tent in order to prevent spills or stains on the street. Please contact the DIA if you have questions about this requirement.
