Year of eligibility for nomination
The year of eligibility is the same year that longlist nominations open, so only works published in 2023 are eligible (though there is flexibility for delays in publication etc).
If in doubt, submit your nomination and it will be reviewed by the BFSA Awards Officer for eligibility

You can nominate up to 4 works per category.

Nomination deadline
Nominations for the longlist close on 23:59 on 31 of December 2023.
Next steps
Members will be able to vote for the longlist in early 2024, the result which produces the short list for the BFSA awards.
