ENETS nurses and dietitians - Questionnaire

For us as a group of nurses and dieticians within ENETS, it is often difficult to reach or identify the nurse/dietitians' members. From our earlier study in 2019 among nurses from 26 different countries, we know that 51% of nurses who care for patients with a neuroendocrine tumor do not feel confident in caring for these patients. Based on this fact, we would like to further investigate how we as a group can contribute to improving this confidence. It does not matter if you work in an ENETS center of excellence (CoE) or not. However, we hope to reach all nurses and dieticians of the centers with this questionnaire, because we believe that they deserve more appreciation and attention in the visitation procedures of the centers. In addition, with more colleagues, we can achieve more if we look at collaboration, sharing of knowledge, education and role development.

So, who are our listeners, what are their needs, what are their expectations of us, and can they contribute to our group in any way?

Please help us answer these questions and complete the questionnaire. Thank you!

To better understand our ENETS members (nurses and dieticians), we would like to know who you are and where you work.

5. Do you work in a centre of excellence?
If you answered 'no’, you could continue to question 13.

7. Do you think it is important that you as a nurse or dietician are also involved in the CoE certification programme and procedures?
8. Are you involved in the CoE visitations or quality improvements within your hospital?

(you may select multiple answers)
The role of the nurse or dietitian in an ENETS CoE is often underexposed. We would like to know what your role is within the NET/NEC patient journey, and additionally which role you actually think is appropriate or desirable. It does not matter whether you work in a CoE or not.
