Couples or Individuals Registered for the 2023 Bank of America Chicago Marathon are Invited to Dash to the Altar™ for An Exclusive Chance to Be Married During Weddings at Wrigley™: A World of Love at The Iconic Wrigley Building™ on October 7, 2023.

Couples or individuals registered to run in the 2023 Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 8, 2023 are invited to apply for an exclusive chance to be married during Weddings at Wrigley: A World of Love at the iconic Wrigley Building on Saturday, October 7, 2023.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration produced by The Wrigley Building, the Circuit Court of Cook County, and Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. The ceremonies are staged beneath the historic and beautiful Wrigley Building Bridge at 410 North Michigan Avenue, where up to 26 couples will experience a FREE wedding or civil union with a multicultural /international twist.

Weddings at Wrigley: A World of Love is an opportunity to celebrate your union, let your creative side shine and involve your friends and family in not one, but two significant occasions in one weekend.

Ceremonies will take place between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. CST, outdoors underneath the Wrigley Building Bridge on Saturday, October 7, 2023.

Couples who are selected for a spot for Weddings at Wrigley: A World of Love can expect:

  • A free, outdoor wedding venue at The Wrigley Building, an opportunity not offered to the public

  • Circuit Court of Cook County volunteer Judges to officiate the ceremony

  • Opportunity to include your cultural wedding tradition for your ceremony 

  • Pre-ceremony registration and photo opportunities at Trump International Hotel & Tower

  • Up to two witnesses, plus underage children of the couple, to stand with the couple during the ceremony

  • Opportunity to invite even more guests to cheer you on and celebrate

  • Chance to be awarded a Grand Prize Honeymoon Package on The Magnificent Mile

By entering this contest, you are agreeing to the following: 

  • You are not already married. Unfortunately, this is not an opportunity for vow renewal.
  • If selected, the couple will confirm with the Weddings At Wrigley team no later than 
    Friday, August 25, 2023 at 5 p.m. CST, of acceptance with the intent to celebrate their wedding or civil union on Saturday, October 7, 2023 as part of Weddings at Wrigley: A World of Love.
  • Weddings At Wrigley event organizers will pair each couple with a Circuit Court of Cook County volunteer judge to officiate the ceremony in English. There is a Spanish-speaking judge if needed. Couples will not be allowed to bring their own officiant.
  • Couple must obtain a Marriage License from a pre-determined Cook County courthouse no later than Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023. If selected, see full details here: Marriage Licenses (cookcountyil.gov)
  • Couple acknowledges that they may bring up to two witnesses, along with their own underage children, to stand with them during the ceremony. We encourage winning couples to invite even
    more guests to observe from designated areas and to celebrate after the ceremony in area businesses.
  • Couple acknowledges that one individual is signed up to participate in the 2023 Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 8, 2023.
