Training Initiative to Strengthen Education and Workforce Development Services for Justice-Involved Young Adults—Letter of Interest
With support from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE), RTI International invites community partnerships to submit a letter of interest to join a free technical assistance (TA) initiative focused on improving the outcomes of justice-involved young adults (ages 16–24) by connecting them with career and technical education (CTE), workforce development, and special education services. By participating in this initiative, community partnerships will receive targeted TA, have access to a website with helpful tools and resources, receive a biannual e-newsletter that will share promising practices, and engage in peer-to-peer or expert-led online discussions.

Please indicate your interest in this initiative by completing this brief letter of interest by Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Letters can be submitted by any of the required partner agencies (described below). Those meeting eligibility requirements will be contacted by phone for more information. We anticipate approximately 20 community partnerships will be selected to participate.
