Higher Grounds offers a free public tour of our roastery facility and a brief comparative coffee tasting, approximately twice a month, on Fridays from 12-1:15 PM. We are located at 806 Red Drive in the Village at Grand Traverse Commons (adjacent to Left Foot Charley winery), Traverse City, Michigan.

Important considerations: the tour involves spending approximately 30 minutes in our production area, where our roasting and bagging equipment is fairly loud. In accordance with federal food manufacturing guidelines, you may be required to wear a hair net and beard net as applicable. We follow the CDC's guidelines on masking; therefore masks are encouraged but not required at this time.

Following the roastery tour, we will move to our small quality control lab for the comparative tasting. Due to our small space, we are unable to provide seating for everyone; however, we are happy to provide chairs upon request.
