This is a psychoeducational class where children learn a framework for understanding their emotions AND coping tools to help them regulate when needed. Lessons are structured and incorporate fun, interactive methods. Children will create their own individualized "tool book" to bring home at the end of the program. Parent education is also provided and included in the fee so you will learn the same information as your child. Class size is limited (4-6 students depending on setting) and make up sessions may be available. Program designed by Lyn Rodriguez Neisius, LPC-S, Licensed School Psychologist, using research- and evidence- based interventions.
The class meets in person for 450 minutes of instruction (Five, 90 minute classes). @Yourchildscounselor 6344 Davis Blvd, N. Richland Hills (after-school and summer daytime)
