Description: This training is designed to guide parents through the matriculation meeting process for kindergarten and provide a clear understanding of what to expect. The training focuses on identifying the necessary supports to ensure a smooth transition into kindergarten, allowing children to thrive and maximize inclusion with necessary accommodations and modifications. Additionally, the session will help parents comprehend how assessments and data are used to make informed placement decisions, all while adhering to the principles of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) requirements. We understand that this can be an emotional time for parents, and our goal is to alleviate any stress or uncertainty, helping you feel at ease as your child reaches this important milestone.

Descripción: Esta capacitación está diseñada para guiar a los padres a través del proceso de la reunión de matriculación para el kínder y brindar una comprensión clara de qué esperar. La capacitación se enfoca en identificar los apoyos necesarios para asegurar una transición fluida al kínder, permitiendo que los niños prosperen y maximicen su inclusión con las adaptaciones y modificaciones necesarias. Además, la sesión ayudará a los padres a comprender cómo se utilizan las evaluaciones y los datos para tomar decisiones informadas sobre la colocación, todo mientras se respetan los principios de IDEA (Ley de Educación para Individuos con Discapacidades) y los requisitos del Entorno Menos Restrictivo (LRE). Entendemos que este puede ser un momento emocional para los padres, y nuestro objetivo es aliviar cualquier estrés o incertidumbre, ayudándoles a sentirse tranquilos mientras su hijo/a alcanza esta importante etapa.
