West End Serial Hub
Knowing and having a record of your bicycle serial number is the best way that you can be reunited with your bike should it ever become lost or stolen.

Unfortunately, not many people know their bicycle serial number which makes the process of getting your bike back complicated.

Queensland Police are encouraging bike riders to use this online form to record their serial number, so they have a permanent record of it and can take this to police in the event their bike is ever stolen.

Where is my serial number?
Most bicycle serial numbers are located under the bottom bracket where the two pedal cranks meet. Simply turn your bike upside down and record the number. If there is no serial number there then check places like the headset at the front of the bike or the rear stays.
What happens to my information?
This optional form collects information for voluntary registration of your bicycle serial number, for possible use by Queensland Police Service officers and staff for investigative purposes and to help you get your bike back if it goes missing.

The information is securely stored and will not be used for any other purpose. You can notify us at any time to have your registration removed from the database by emailing digitalmedia@police.qld.gov.au
