The work of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) is about more than just words. It's about listening to what our community needs and making sure everyone feels included. We want to use the resources of the township in a way that helps everyone, especially those who might feel left out. This effort is about making safe spaces where every person feels welcomed and valued.

Understanding Our Blind Spots

We all have things we might not see or understand about others. This project helps us learn about these blind spots so we can do better. Maybe we've been doing okay, but we believe there's always room to grow. We want to be more aware and make sure our township is the best it can be for all our residents.

Building a Responsive Community

Our community is changing, and we need to change with it. This project is about listening, learning, and taking action to make sure our township is a place where everyone feels they belong. We want to hear from you so we can make this the best place to live, work, and play.

Your Role in This Work

This is why we need you. By filling out our survey or joining a focus group, you can tell us what's working and what we need to improve. Your voice matters, and it will help us make real changes.

Session Details:

  • Format: Available in both in-person and virtual formats to accommodate various needs and schedules.

     Hoffman Estates, IL 60169
  • Dates: To be determined. NOTE: Multiple sessions will be scheduled each day to ensure broad accessibility and participation.
