Parking Rules
The following lot assignments and parking regulations will be strictly enforced. Violators may lose their parking privilege and will be subject to disciplinary action.
Parking Lot Assignments
1. The North Lot (Lower Lot), with access from Hilltop Dr. or Municipal Dr. is a designated student parking lot.
2. The South Lot (Upper Lot) is a designated student parking lot.
Students are not allowed to park in the visitor parking or reserved parking in the front rows.
3. The North/West Lot by the STEM wing and Greenhouse will be for staff only. Students may not park in this lot.
Parking Lot Regulations
1. Students may park on school grounds during the school day only with the permission of the school and consent of a parent. Vehicles must display an official parking permit. Vehicles not displaying a permit will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense. Students may incur disciplinary action as a result of parking violations.
2. Permits must be displayed on rear driver’s side window. The following should display permits on the front driver’s side window: convertible cars, vehicles with tinted windows.
3. Students are not to leave school, be in the parking lot, in cars, or drive their cars during the school day. Once student drivers bring their vehicles on school grounds, the vehicles must remain there until the end of the school day. Specific permission from the main office must be obtained prior to students going to their cars or driving a vehicle off school property.
4. Any vehicle brought on district premises by a student may be searched when the principal or designee has reasonable suspicion to justify the search.
5. Students are to park only in the designated, marked spaces in the appropriate parking lot. They are not allowed to park on the grass or access roads.
6. Students are not to speed or drive in a reckless manner on school property.
7. If a parking permit is lost, stolen, a new one must be purchased. Replacement cost is $5 each time.
8. Vehicle use on school property is a privilege, which can be revoked if regulations are not followed.
9. Students who disregard school rules as to student use of vehicles on school property will also face disciplinary action, up to and including, suspension.
