What is the benevolence fund?
The Benevolence Committee of New Life Community Church is charged with determining who is needy and defining what constitutes an emergency need according to Biblical standards. These benevolence funds come from the blessings that the Lord has given us and we are charged with being good stewards of it. Our decisions are made in accordance with the mandates of Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
What qualifies for benevolence assistance?
The benevolence fund supports the following living necessities: Utilities (electricity, gas, water etc.) Rent Mortgage
Please note: The application process may take up to 7-10 business days to complete.
Written documentation of all invoices must be attached to this application. Documentation must include date of invoice and current amount due/past due. If you are granted benevolence assistance, all checks will be made payable to the invoiced company and mailed directly to the business/company address provided. No exceptions. Cash requests will not be honored. All information provided will be verified prior to a committee decision being made. Amounts granted are based on the total amount requested and fiscal year constraints.
