Global Studies Application 2026-2027

Acceptance to the program
Acceptance will be based on the application form and personal statement, academic record, and personal references. Participants are expected to maintain a good academic standing throughout the year. Students unable to keep up with their academic course load may be asked to withdraw from the program.

The main goals of the program are to develop leadership, ethical decision-making and cultural competencies. Therefore, all applicants are required to submit two references that can provide information on their ability to work effectively with others. Referees should be qualified adults that have worked with the student in an academic course and/or a leadership setting. Referees may include but are not limited to teachers, coaches, employers, although one referee should be a teacher in the current academic year. Contact information for the referees is to be provided on the application form (below) and they will be contacted by Global Studies staff.
