Volunteer With the Boston Road Runners Youth Program

Boston Road Runners is partnering with several Boston Public Schools to host educator-coached Running Clubs for students. Each club will complete a 12 weeks. Our Fall Program runs from September to November and the Spring Programs runs from March to June.

We are looking for community members to serve as volunteers to help motivate and inspire student participants.

No prior experience needed, but we’re looking for individuals who are great with kids.

Responsibilities include:

  • Attending one or more running sessions each week for 12 weeks.
  • Time commitment 1 hour and 15 minutes, not including travel time to and from the site.
  • Motivate students to participate actively.
  • Create a welcoming and fun environment for students to gain confidence through running.
