Are the current turbulent times calling for a change in how we view our vocations, particularly in the finance and investment field? How do we understand our role as stewards, and what does biblical stewardship look like in an uncertain and volatile future?
Come join us for a morning of unpacking what biblical stewardship and in particular financial stewardship means, through teaching, panels and group discussions.
This event is a collaboration between City to City Asia Pacific, Faith Driven Investor and Brightlight Impact. We pray this gathering helps reframe and propel us to be faithful stewards and point the world to our Father in Heaven.

Sam Richards brings 25 years of investment experience to his role leading Brightlight's faith aligned investment initiatives. His deep connection to Asia includes his Sri Lankan heritage and extensive work across regional markets. Previously serving as Chief Operating Officer of Goldman Sachs Asset Management Australia and Head of Distribution for Asia Ex-Japan, Sam developed expertise in strategy implementation across Asian markets while building strong regional relationships.
Through his work at Goldman Sachs, Sam gained valuable insights into both institutional investment approaches and the unique needs of Asian investors. This experience, combined with his commitment to biblical stewardship, enables him to help bridge Western and Asian perspectives on faith-aligned investing. He focuses on developing regionally appropriate solutions that respect both cultural contexts and faith principles.
Alistair Chiu works with City to City Asia Pacific on developing faith & work initiatives in cities across the AP region. In addition to being a pastor in Hong Kong, he has had a particular focus on developing ministries aimed at helping workers connect their faith with their work in Hong Kong for the past 7 years.
