The Nutley Academic Booster Club 2020 History Fair
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel the upcoming History Fair. We did not reach this decision lightly, but based it on concerns expressed to us by parents, as well as cancellations by several participants and judges, and on our own assessment of the unfortunate timing of this long-planned event with rapid developments in the novel coronavirus outbreak. We believe, based on the nature of the event, that it would be too difficult to ensure that the students, judges, family members, and spectators would not be exposed to any contamination.

We recognize that your children have likely already worked hard on their presentations, and we are so sorry to disappoint them and you. We do hope that researching their history topics has already provided some academic enrichment, which is of course our main goal. If your children have completed their projects and want to exhibit them, we can look for a way to make that happen, but right now we just wanted to get the word out to you as soon as possible so that you can adjust your plans.

NOTE: Display Space is 3' wide and 3' deep. Plan accordingly. *We do not have equipment to play DVDs. We suggest you bring your own laptop to play it on and that you request electricity.
IMPORTANT: The Booklet containing the rules and judging times for each age group is online at http://www.nutleyabc.org. Judging times for each grade will be set after the registration deadline in early March.
