The BaBa Project Interest Form
The BaBa Project or BaBa is a free and unique program that is designed for ALL people who identify as a male; reside in the Central Florida area; and have no children, are expecting, or have children between the ages of 0-18 years old. This program provides education and support services designed to reduce the burden on fathers who do not have the knowledge of or support to establish or utilize their parental rights in the State of Florida. The program also aims to educate males before they become fathers so they can apply what is learned once they begin having children and improve the outcomes for their father/child relationship before their child is born. Individuals who are already parenting will be offered the same services including help with their coparenting relationship, documentation, education, and other services. Program participants will be offered quarterly Fatherhood Workshops designed to ensure they understand their rights as fathers in the State of Florida (ideally, before they become fathers) and will be assisted in completing an evidence-informed online fatherhood training. The program will also offer support for fathers with children to better ensure those fathers have supplies for their children when they are in their care.
