RESOURCES FOR BLESSED MICHAEL McGIVNEY
While you’re waiting to be contacted, go to the Supreme website by clicking this link https://www.kofc.org/en/events/father-mcgivney-beatification/toolkit.html?1tab=1tab0&icon-tabs=1
Explore the materials that are online and familiarize yourself with them. Make sure that your financial secretary orders litany and canonization cards in advance. It is very hard to predict how many cards to have in hand. It is easier that your council orders them in advance for the event. Rather than the State Council trying to predict how many to order. You know your churches better than we do, so be prepared with the prayer cards.
To order Blessed Michael McGivney prayer cards. You will need your Financial Secretary to go to Supplies Online and enter the publication number 11118 for the Litany cards and 10502 A for the canonization cards. Enter the number in the search box, and you will be offered a choice of languages for the cards. You’ll see that these cards can be ordered for $5.00 per pack of 100 cards plus shipping.
Once you fill out the request form and are contacted with a date, further instructions will be forthcoming.
